Any idea how much taxpayer money was spent on throwing this gathering of 'Golden Shovel's soirée?

During these times of budget shortfalls, work week furloughs and lay-offs, are expenditures on events of this nature helpful? If so, for whom?

I've probably been listening to too many of those belt-tightening speech's that so many politicians have made since the near collapse of our economy, not all that long ago.

It was an experiment, I'd grown it for seed for future use. Next year I'll grow it for dry storage and use it for making my own tortillas.Our bell peppers are doing quite well, and yours?
