Christmas newspaper on Christmas Eve

Holiday schedule turns N-R into a daily newspaper, briefly.

The holiday schedule for the News-Register is a wild one this year. After producing Friday's paper last Thursday, the staff turned around and produced another issue on Friday in able to be mailed today and be in the hands of subscribers for Christmas. Thus, the paper dated Tuesdayhit mailboxes and stands today. As usual, the staff rolled with the punches and handled the back-to-back deadlines like champions.

We will have the same schedule this week, too, as the New Year's Day holiday is also on Tuesday. Merry Christmas to all!
