Winter weather advisory issued
Snow possible during early morning hours

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the central Willamette Valley, including McMinnville, for Friday from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. Although most snowfall is expected further south, there is a 60 percent chance of snow locally, according to the National Weather Service, with accumulation of less than half an inch possible overnight. Temperature tonight is predicted to be in the low 20s, with Friday predicted to reach a high of 31. Cold temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, with a prediction for a frigid 10 degree low Saturday night.
