Publications laud Linfield

Washington Monthly credited Linfield with helping students from families of modest means earn degrees at affordable prices. Linfield was one of 349 schools that made the "Bang for Your Buck" list, out of 1,572 colleges and universities included in the publications’ broader rankings.
The U.S. News survey ranked nearly 1,400 schools in a variety of categories, such as retention, graduation rate, class size, caliber of students and quality of faculty. Linfield tied at 123 with St. John’s College in Maryland and Wittenberg University in Ohio.
Linfield is one of the few schools in the Pacific Northwest dedicated exclusively to undergraduate education. Its offers a student-faculty ratio of 12:1.
Linfield's residential campus in McMinnville focuses on a liberal arts and sciences curriculum. The college also operates a school of nursing in Portland and an adult degree program with students at eight Oregon sites.
