I hope that Mr. Christie at least received a ticket for failing to yield the right of way or something. It seems that McMinnville places a much higher burden on wheelchair uses to not get hit in crosswalks than it does on the drivers who are so intent on making their turns that they can't be bothered to look both ways.

The one way traffic on Baker and Adams are the most dangerous, as most drivers only look in the direction of oncoming traffic. I've come very close to getting hit numerous times while crossing legally with the signal and it depresses me to know that should I die despite my best efforts, there won't be any more justice for me and my family than their appears to be for my friend Patricia.
