Linfield will host Dec. 1 quarterfinal game

Linfield College will host an NCAA Division III quarterfinal football playoff game at noon on Saturday, Dec. 1, the NCAA announced Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats will play University of Wisconsin Oshkosh at Maxwell Field in McMinnville.
Both teams are undefeated. Linfield, 11-0 on the season, defeated North Central 30-14 on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals. UW-Oshkosh, 12-0, defeated Bethel 37-14 in it second round game.
The winner of Linfield's game Saturday will play the winner of University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Wesley College, another Dec. 1 quarterfinal game. Quarterfinal games in the other bracket pit Hobart College vs. University of St. Thomas, and Widener University vs. University of Mount Union.
Tournament semifinal games will be played Saturday, Dec. 8, and the Division III championship game will be Friday, Dec. 14, in Salem, VA.
