Linfield student to give recital

The free program will start at 7:30 p.m. A reception will follow in Jonasson Hall.

Pangelinan will perform classical, romantic and 20th century works, as well as cabaret and musical theater songs.

A senior music and psychology double major, she began singing in choirs as a child and playing the violin at age 9. At Linfield, she has participated in the Opera Workshop, portraying Cherubino in “The Marriage of Figaro,” Stephano in “Romeo et Juliette” and Giulietta in the Barcarolle scene from “Tales of Hoffmann.”

She is also involved in the theater, including Gallery Theater, where she played Amy in “Little Women,” the Artful Dodger in “Oliver!,” Dorothy in “The Wiz” and Crystal in “Little Shop of Horrors,” among others. She will appear as the title character in the upcoming production of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” as well.
