I spoke to one of the drivers at Yamhill Transit and was told that they make $11.50 and hour with no benefits since First Student took over. When it was run by YCAP they had awesome insurance. This just doesn't seem fair. It seems like the county would have been more considerate with the drivers by making sure they retained insurance when outsourcing to First Student.

First Student provides school bus transportation services to the McMinnville School District as well as many other surrounding school districts. First Transit is the provider for the Yamhill transit service."
