Concert set at Linfield

Linfield College Concert Band will be joined by the Linfield Concert Choir in presenting “Songs of America” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The fall concert will feature American folk music, sacred music and popular music from the early 20th Century.
The Linfield Concert Band, directed by Emmy winner Joan Haaland Paddock, is a 37-member instrumental ensemble featuring woodwinds, brass and percussion. The Linfield Concert Choir, directed by Yale School of Music graduate Anna Song, features 40 voices.
The concert will be held in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium, in Melrose Hall at Linfield. It is open to the public at no charge.
