Cats rock Cal Lutheran as offense rolls

Linfield recorded 654 yards of total offense as the Wildcats defeated Cal Lutheran, 52-14, on Saturday afternoon at Maxwell Field.

Senior quarterback Josh Yoder threw for three touchdown passes and ran for another score. Linfield (2-0 overall) outscored the Kingsmen (0-2) 24-0 in the second and third quarters.

Former McMinnville running back Spencer Payne carried the ball five times for 29 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, in his first game as a Wildcat.
