Carlton to host town meeting on domestic violence

CARLTON -- Police officers will host "Domestic Violence, Impact on the Community" at 7 p.m. tonight, April 22, in the American Legion Hall, 158 E. Main St. All residents are welcome.
The meeting will look at the definition of domestic violence, the effect of family violence on children and its effects on the community.
In addition to Carlton Police Chief Kevin Marinez and officers Jacob Herr and Chad Jones, speakers will include Amanda Desen, an assistant district attorney; Debra Bridges, director of crime victim services; and Sarah Grabner, a victim advocate.
