She should not be allowed to be around animals. Was she doing it to exercise the dog? Or to punish it? Has she done this to children? What happens if a grand child is disobedient? Common sense needs to come in someplace. She pays a fine, but she should also be banned from owning or caring for an animal. What will happen next time?

Very sad this happened. But at least something was done about it. I do question the ability to allow her to keep animals in the future, but maybe she can redeem herself in some way. I can sympathize with the feelings about wanting to drag her behind a car, but she is "grown up" enough to understand her actions and the repercussions of them. I am sure the owners of the dog did not intend for their furry child to bother the lady while she cared for it, and I'm sure had they known that she would do something cruel then they would have found another dog sitter. First offence? I think so, and let's hope it's the last.

My comments about Obama were aimed at PETA, whose sole purpose is to reach out to the lunatic left in their misguided attempts at "protecting animals". When Obama swatted a fly, PETA was outraged that he had the nerve to kill a fly. Ridiculous, just like it is ridiculous to threaten an eldery woman with violence. Therefore, you and PETA are one and the same, lunatics. I fully realize what she did was terrible, but to sit back on your computer and make violent threats towards her, is wrong as well. I also am an animal lover. I have cats, dogs, chickens, goats and a parrot named Joe. I take VERY good care of my animals. ALL my animals have been fixed and they ALL have accounts at the vets office.

I take them in for a check-up at least once a year. They get their teeth brushed every day by me. It's not that hard and they are now used to it and if you get the right flavor of tooth paste they love it!!

I have a nice car and I also have a nice chain. I sure would like to know where she lives. I would FIRST in line to take care of this Idiot. This woman should have to spend at least a month in jail if you ask me.

She is damn lucky I wasn't the judge in this case. She would be doing some very hard time in jail if it was up to me. What is happening to this world anymore.

People killing people every day of the week. You kill someone you should be killed right on the spot. NO trial and NO 14 yeasr to appeal your death sentance.

Way to many sick people in this world anymore. You can't even walk the streets at night anymore without risking getting mugged or even worse "KILLED"
