Homestead has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.
Litscher has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, solicitation to commit first-degree kidnapping and solicitation to commit first-degree robbery.
Homestead is being held in the Yamhill County Jail without bail. Litscher is being held on $510,000 bail, meaning he would have to post $51,000 to secure his release. Both are scheduled to go on trial Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The shooting occurred behind the Dundee Women’s Hall, across from Lumpy’s Tavern on Highway 99W. Victim Grant Herring sought help at Lumpy’s, where he had been drinking earlier in the evening.
Herring was transported by Life Flight Helicopter to the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where he was initially listed in serious condition with a potentially life-threatening leg wound that bled profusely. He was discharged several weeks later.
