The Lafayette Fire Department is sponsoring a 5K run and walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Lafayette City Hall. Funds raised will benefit the purchase of a new defibrillator for the Lafayette Fire Dept. and the Lafayette Christmas Toy Drive.The route will take participants on Duniway Road and end at Joel Perkins Park..
